I am one of those people who loves to add any possible schedules to my Google Calendar and set up SMS alerts so that I do not miss them. Case in point, Cricket matches, football matches. One thing I was missing a lot was the daily schedule for English movie channels like Star Movies and HBO, where I had to check newspapers in the morning to see what the night movie is.
From now on I don’t need to do this. I just found that Star Movies have an official Calendar that has the list of 9PM and 11PM movies. All I had to do is:
- Download the calendar which is in .calendar format
- Go to my Google Calendar and then click on Add.
- Then import this icalendar file
Thatz it. The movies are listed in my Google Calendar and I will be receiving SMS alerts every night before the movie. No need to shuffle across newspapers to find tonight’s blockbuster screening…
